Celebrating 41 Years
MsK
Rare Plant Nursery
is now part of the
Kruckeberg
Botanic Garden Foundation as of
February 11, 2008. Located within the 50-year-old
Kruckeberg Botanic Garden in Richmond Beach (northwest of
Seattle) the MsK
Rare Plant Nursery
carries on the loving work of the late
Mareen S. Kruckeberg, who sought
to provide unusual plants for the budding botanist and the
garden connoisseur alike. Here you can see what your plants will
look like in 50 years! Specialties include: Native plants for
sun or shade; conifers, oaks; rarities from the Siskiyou
mountains and alpine areas of the Pacific Northwest; forest
floor plants, species lilies, trilliums, and erythroniums.

Erythronium

Garrya x issaquahensis Mahonia piperiana
We carry a diverse
stock of shrubs, vines and trees that form the “backbone” of a
good garden. Many of our selections are hard to find in the
general trade. Choice varieties of native shrubs, such as Ribes
sanguineum “White Icicle,” or the Silk Tassel bush Garrya x
issaquahensis, are examples of time-tested winners that we carry
at the nursery.
